My name is Giancarlo Torres and I graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California in 2011. After high school, I attended the College of Idaho. At first I was a Business Major but thanks to PEAK, I broadened my horizons and took an Education class and things changed from there. I had already started coaching by my freshmen year in college as I was already a JV Boys Soccer Head Coach so teaching was already a part of me. I graduated in May of 2016 majoring in Physical Education and minoring in Education, Interactive Journalism, Business, and Health Education. I'm currently student teaching for the 2016-2017 school year and at the end of that school year, I will be certified to teach at the elementary level.
