The Danielson Framework was created by Charlotte Danielson who recognized the complexity and cognitive demands that teaching implements on teachers and students.
The model was created to show educators what their goals and duties are and promotes a clear and meaningful conversations about effective teaching practices. This model is supported by empirical studies and theoretical research. The framework is divided into 22 components and are clustered into 4 domains: Planning and Preparation, The Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities.
